Exclusive analysis for The Daily Telegraph by Ofcom shows a fifth of young people aged 16 – 24 spend more than seven hours a day on-line, with 1.1m spending more than 50 hours a week online via a digital devise.
82% of this youth audience use public WiFi spots, according to the Ofcom 2018 Adults Media Use and Attitudes Report.
A proportion of this audience will reply on this access, due to not being in a financial position to have a monthly contract/there is a gap before they can top up their Pay as You go phone.
Unemployed/underemployed 18 – 30 year olds will be among those benefiting from the access public WiFi hotspots bring.
This often hard to reach audience is exactly those The Prince’s Trust #GetHired aims to reach.
THE IDEA: GET CONNECTED #GETHIRED WiFi
The Prince’s Trust sponsor FREE WiFi Hotspots.
